A Record of 15,000 Viewers of Our Technical Blog

Hi Friends,

Today our technical blog has set a new record of 15,000 viewers. Congratulations to all members of bauxite-alumina-aluminium fraternity for this new height of success. I never dreamed of the level of popularity of this blog which we have achieved so far. I have observed that a minimum of 50 viewers of various part of the Globe are always studying the different posts of our blog. It is simply great to have this crowd of learned people on such a simple site. This new record deserves a grand celebration and thus we have decided to publish special articles on system design, material balance calculations and thermal energy balance calculations for specialty grade of calcined alumina in forthcoming posts. Our each and every technical paper will continue to remain unique as all documents are our own creations based on process engineering principles backed by extensive industrial experience and such documents are neither available in any conventional books nor at any published internet site so far as even tiny technical document on any specialized topic requires lot of efforts than it appears.

Making a new record in any field is of course a tough task but honest and sincere efforts of individual as well as team always make it easy. In addition, supports and blessings of well wishers make it easier by providing the right path to proceed ahead. It gives me immense pleasure to express that all friends of bauxite-alumina-aluminium fraternity irrespective of youngsters and highly experienced professionals in the field across the globe are taking keen interest in exchanging their views through this blog.

Till date, we have published over 150 technical papers covering various areas like specifications of input materials, quality specifications of products, production processes, technological advancements, modifications in equipment, process design, equipment design calculations and basics of plant design aspects. We will continue to step up further and will cover system design, material balance and thermal energy balance calculations for typical plants shortly in forthcoming posts as promised above. However, other areas related to basic engineering, detailed  engineering, project management, execution methodology, procedures for commissioning, establishing performance guarantee parameters and ramp up methods for Alumina refinery shall be published afterwards.

Your valued suggestions, remarks and comments are important to us, thus we welcome your suggestions. Quality in all respect is our prime concern and will continue to put more thrust on this issue for further improvement. Ultimately, we are aiming to make this site as an unique platform for searching any technical data / information / calculations pertaining to bauxite, alumina and aluminium in future.
